Established method – state-of-the-art results.
The milling of plastic parts with CNC-operated machines has been utilised for decades. This tried and tested method can be used to rework plastic parts that have been thermoformed or manufactured using other manufacturing methods. It is also used for the manufacture of prototypes. Thanks to the absence, or at least the reduction of tool costs, this method – combined with other methods (injection moulding, thermoforming etc.) – can be exceptionally useful, especially for „rapid prototyping“.
Prototypes manufactured by us are barely distinguishable from classic form parts. This means that our customer, you, benefits from the fact that very high-quality solutions are available, quickly.
In our production large numbers of high-tech, 5-axis controlled CNC-milling centres work with varying table sizes. More specifically: we mill plastics to a size of 3000 x 2500 mm. We can tool and manufacture plastic sheets as well as moulded parts.
The programming is done by our in-house programmers utilising the latest CAD/CAM technology. However, data supplied by you is processed just as diligently and precisely. In both cases we achieve the best results in terms of quality, speed, resource utilisation, and waste prevention.
CNC milling is suitable both for the post-processing of plastic parts which are produced by means of thermoforming or other processes, as well as generically for the production of prototypes
